Ralph Wilson Social Studios Ltd ("we", "us", "our") operates Ralph Wilson Social at ralph-wilson.com. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you visit the site. We process data in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2. What Data We Collect
We collect limited data in order to run the site:
- Usage data: pages visited, time on site, browser type, device type, and approximate geographic region — collected anonymously via Cloudflare Web Analytics. No IP address is retained beyond the request.
- Contact data: if you email us, we retain your email address and the contents of your message in order to respond.
- Preferences: your cookie-consent choice (
__cc_v1) and age-gate confirmation (__age_ok) are stored in your browser's local storage.
We do not collect financial information. There is no account system and no purchase flow.
3. Cookies and Similar Technologies

4. How We Use Your Data
- To operate and improve the site and game (legitimate interest).
- To respond to support requests (contract performance / legitimate interest).
- To measure anonymous traffic via Cloudflare Web Analytics (legitimate interest; no personal identifiers retained).
- For advertising analytics when you arrive via a paid campaign and have given consent (lawful basis: consent).
5. Data Retention
Support emails are retained for up to 24 months, then deleted. Anonymous analytics data is retained for up to 30 days by Cloudflare per their standard retention. Preference cookies expire as set out in the Cookie Policy (session to 12 months).
6. Sharing Data
We do not sell your data. We share it only with:
- Cloudflare, Inc. — CDN, security, and anonymous analytics. Data processed under a Data Processing Agreement in accordance with UK GDPR.
- Google LLC — advertising attribution cookies only, and only when you have given consent.
- Law enforcement — if required by a court order or legal obligation under UK law.
7. Your Rights
Under UK GDPR you have the right to: access your data; correct inaccurate data; request erasure; restrict processing; object to processing; and, where processing is based on consent, withdraw that consent at any time. To exercise any right, email support@ralph-wilson.com. We will respond within one month.
If you are not satisfied with our response, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
8. International Transfers
Cloudflare operates globally. Where data is processed outside the UK, Cloudflare relies on UK-approved transfer mechanisms (standard contractual clauses or UK adequacy decisions). No other international transfers occur.
9. Children
This site is strictly for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has used the site, please contact us immediately.
10. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of the site after a change constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
